I bought my first running shoes about 4 1/2 years ago - yeah, I've been blogging for a bit - and I just barely wore them out. I don't think they are supposed to last that long. Granted, I am thrilled that they did, but it begs the question, "Can I really call myself a 'runner'?" Although I still think that they were the BEST running shoes ever made, I am not sure they would have lasted a "real" runner this long. Who knows?

I took really good care of my shoes. I only wore them running, and they still look pretty good. But the grid cushions wore out.
I got a really good deal on my new shoes, but I will miss my old ones a lot. I LOVE the colors and look of my old shoes. And I have so many clothes that match - I know, I'm a lame girl.

My new shoes seem to be working well, but I just don't like the look of them as well. Luckily that's not the point.

Out with the old; in with the new, I guess.
