A week after Dillon and I gave our talks in our new ward, I was called to be the 1st Counselor in the Young Women's Presidency. I am always secretly hoping I will get an easier calling than the one before, but I guess that defeats progression.
My faith in how callings work quickly helped me remove my feelings of inadequacy, intimidation, and fear. So far, they keep coming back, but I am doing my best.
The President said that she felt so strongly that I was "the one" for the job after she heard my talk. She tells me that she didn't choose me. I feel so flattered and humbled to know someone received inspiration on my behalf.
I am over the girls that are 14-15 year old girls. They are so sweet and fun. I am looking forward to getting to know them better.
