Are You F-ing Kidding Me?!?!

These Utah law makers need a kick in the balls. Just when you think Utah liquor laws couldn't get any more abnormal... What are these people really trying to do?

The Utah Senate is trying to pass a bill to require a 10 foot tall wall around alcohol in restaurants. Who the hell thought this would be a good idea? It's not like smoking. There's no such thing as second-hand-drinking. The purpose seems to be to hide drink making from children and families so they won't be enticed to drink. There is no substitute for parenting people, not even Utah law.

Governor John Huntsman is simultaneously trying "normalize" Utah's liquor laws. He's been in the news on another topic lately. The more I learn about him, the more I like him and what he's trying to do.

Extremes on either side of the fence drive me crazy. This latest "stunt" definitely screams far, far right to me among other things. It's as absurd in my eye as a bill that makes all businesses close on Sundays. I shouldn't say that too loud. Valentine may be writing it up this very moment...

I totally agree... I don't drink but I firmly believe in our laws being the same as everywhere else. We make ourselves look like idiots by trying to pass laws like this.

And Porter is so tiny and adorable. :)
